My Healthy Costco Shopping List

I have fallen in love with shopping at Costco and I’m sharing my healthy Costco shopping list with you.

The first time I went to Costco, it was hard for me to put those large bulk items in the cart.

How could I spend 11 dollars on sponges?

After my first trip, I was shocked at how much it was saving us. I didn’t have to buy sponges for a year!

By now I have learned my way around the store and have seen what items they circulate.

Costco is a great place to find organic healthy foods!

Especially if you are eating Keto, there are a ton of choices for healthy meats and vegetables.

So what items do I purchase at Costco that are healthy?

Organic Coconut Oil

It’s a huge tub of never-ending coconut oil that lasts forever.

It’s cold-pressed and delicious, perfect for putting right in your skillet.

You will love this 84 fl oz organic coconut oil.

Organic Frozen Berries

We always grab a bag of organic frozen blueberries. They are perfect for snacking, smoothies, or putting in oatmeal. It’s a HUGE bag that lasts a long time.

We use them in this AIP Smoothie Recipe.

Organic Ground Flax Seeds

Perfect for putting in oatmeal or smoothies for some extra fiber and healthy fats. We love this ground flax seed from Costco.

Organic Produce

Costco always has a variety of organic produce ranging from premade salad kits, power greens, organic avocados, apples, and more.

I got a 10lb bag on onions we’ve been using for weeks.

I’ve never been disappointed in their produce and it keeps well in the fridge.

Grass-Fed Beef

The Grass-Fed Beef comes in 3 1lb packages. I’ve found it to be way higher quality than commercial beef. We can really taste the difference.

They also have premade organic grass-fed beef patties in the freezer section. These are always on my healthy Costco shopping list.

Organic Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

These also come in packages of 3 so if you didn’t need them all right away you can easily freeze a package.

I love the quality of the chicken and it’s perfect for chicken tacos, keto meals or a quick lunch.

They also have whole chickens for roasting or Chicken Soup in the Instant Pot.

Granola Bars

We don’t eat a ton of granola bars because they are higher carb but they can be great for throwing in your purse if you have a busy day.

Costco has lots to choose from so you can find a healthier version to fit your family’s eating plan.

Milk

We do not buy dairy milk, although they have that cheap. We get Kirkland organic almond milk or coconut milk for our family. They have no added sugar so it’s perfect for keto coffee or to add to smoothies.

It comes in individual packages of about 12oz each so you don’t have to open the whole amount at one time. The unopened can be stored no the shelf.

Spices

Costco has organic spices in bulk which is perfect for our family of 6 people. They last for a long time and they don’t have a bunch of filler ingredients added to them.

When you have food allergies, you can’t deal with added ingredients or preservatives.

If you don’t have a Costco Membership, I highly recommend it. Especially if you have children.

We have saved hundreds of dollars and the membership allows you to get discounts on gas, travel, and clothing as well.
