It can be tricky to find snack ideas or a treat when you are on the AIP diet.
You don’t want to blow all the hard work that you have done and risk an autoimmune flare up just to have something tasty.
Finding store-bought snacks such as grass-fed beef jerky is a challenge and can get expensive.
They do have their place but I eat them sparingly because it’s super easy to whip up a snack in your own kitchen.
I only resort to purchasing convenience snacks if we are traveling and I won’t have access to a kitchen.

Coconut Butter Stuffed Dates – One of my personal favorite AIP snack recipes is this decadent treat that resembles eating caramel. It is the perfect snack if you are craving something sweet without the worry of setting off your allergies.
AIP Twice Fried Green Plantains – This AIP snack recipe is extremely simple and will leave you with a delicious crispy snack.
Caramelized Coconut Chips – The perfect combination of crunchiness and sweetness in these toasted coconut chips which are easy to make right in your home, so you don’t have to pay expensive store prices.
Autoimmune Paleo Guacamole – This delicious guacamole is completely nightshade free. It’s perfect for dipping sweet potato chips in or other veggies you have laying around.
