Create a Migraine Care Package

How do you create a migraine care package?

Migraines are a horribly painful experience and anything I can do to lessen the pain is so important.

As someone who has suffered from migraines, I know exactly what I want in this care package.

Let’s put together the perfect care package with must-have items for any migraine.

You can use this migraine gift basket for a family member, friend, or yourself!

Create a Migraine Care Package or Gift Basket

What can you put inside this care package?

There are a few must-have items that anyone who deals with headaches would love to have in their home.

Ice Pack for a Migraine Care Package

The Headache Hat for migraines. This is an icepack designed especially for people dealing with migraines.

Sometimes only ice will do the job. It helps to constrict swelling in blood vessels and reduce pain.

It’s perfect for keeping in your freezer, ready for your next headache.

Which Essential Oils for Migraines?

Ultrasonic Diffuser for essential oils like Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Frankincense.

Everyone is different when it comes to scents and migraines. Frankincense has been shown to help reduce swelling in the brain so it can be helpful for some people.

I can only tolerate certain smells when I have a headache so this one will vary by the individual.

We trust Eden’s Garden essential oils and they are not marked up like most MLM brands.

Magnesium Oil for your Migraine Care Package

Ancient Minerals Magnesium Spray helps to relax the nervous system and can help with nerve pain during a migraine. It’s also great to use daily to help prevent a migraine.

Magnesium also helps with muscle pain, muscle tightness, and anxiety so you can see how it would benefit those with migraines.

Add a Water Bottle to Your Migraine Care Package

It’s so easy to get busy and not drink enough water. Often this is a problem for those with migraines.

I have this water bottle and it is THE BEST! IronFlask Water Bottle is my go-to. It never ever leaks and it’s so durable.

Just staying hydrated can help reduce or relieve migraine headaches.

Blue Blocker Glasses for Migraines

All that blue light from our computers and cell phones can lead to migraine headaches.

We trust these blue light blocking glasses to help reduce eye strain and stress. It definitely helps those who struggle with migraine headaches.

A Basket for Your Care Package

Now all you need is a small basket for your migraine gift basket!

You can add a few or all of these items to a migraine care package or even a few extra things that would comfort someone.

Even some fuzzy socks or a soft blanket are nice to have around when you are not feeling well.

These baskets are perfect to gift to a family member or friend.

Personally, if you struggle with migraines, I would get the stuff for yourself and call it self-care.

A Program for Migraines

If you need more help with migraines and headaches, I’ve found success by cleaning up my meals and focusing on gut health.

I love to recommend the Digestive Restoration Program for those with migraines and many have seen success.

Often the root of migraines is inflammation and most people need major diet changes to see a reduction in inflammation.

It’s common to see someone with migraines eating food their body is allergic to or has an intolerance to.

The Digestive Restoration Program will not fit in your basket but it can be life-changing for most people.

  1. My symptoms are hives, itchy nose and eyes and have suffered a debilitating autoimmune disease most my life until I stopped Gluten a decade ago. The hives stopped until 1 year ago when I thought I had histamine intolerance. It turns out however being on a low histamine diet didn’t stop my hives completely. So, after stumbling on the low oxalate diet I immediately started it 2 weeks ago.
My symptoms abated only to come back with a vengeance yesterday and today with the most violent and widespread skin irritation I had ever experienced over a 24-48 period.
I trust and pray on the right path…
