Healthy Ranch Dressing

Do you love ranch dressing as much as I do? This avocado ranch is thick, creamy, and so dang flavorful! It’ll be your new go-to dressing, dip, or sauce. I love making a batch and keeping it in the fridge all week.

It’s much healthier than store bought ranch and has simple ingredients and spices that you probably have in your cabinet already. If you do have to buy the spices, don’t stress because you can use them for making more batches of ranch and other recipes.

Making the avocado ranch dressing is super simple. Just put everything in a food process or blender and pulse until the dressing is smooth and creamy. It’s SO much better than store bought ranch dressing.

Avocado Ranch Recipe Tips

  • Make sure to choose ripe (but not too ripe) avocados. The avocado should feel lightly soft, but not mushy. If you plan to make the avocado ranch dressing a few days later, make sure to choose an avocado that’s a little bit harder to the touch.
  • For the mayonnaise I use Primal Kitchen Mayonnaise with Avocado Oil. This mayonnaise is made with real, whole-food ingredients.
  • Mayonnaise substitute: sub in 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt.
  • This avocado ranch can be used as a dip or dressing. This recipe is a thick and creamy dressing. If you want your dressing more runny, add 1/4 -1/2 cup more water, and blend.
  • If you’re using fresh herbs, double the amount that is listed in the ingredients section.

  1. Hey, Abbey. This turned out great! I’ve been looking for a nice keto dip for celery or dressing for salads and this is both. I had to adapt it some so I could prepare it with what I had on hand, like right now! No coconut milk or avocado mayo so I used plain, full fat raw milk yogurt I get from a farm that is a European style. I also used some ground hot pepper to give it a little kick. So, not so different really from your recipe. It’s is wonderful. Thanks!
